Programmes
Basic English
Basic English classes are designed for students with little or no knowledge of English, in accordance with their individual needs. These could include the alphabet, phonics, basic vocabulary, and simple sentence building. Students will be taught to read and write short paragraphs and stories. The classes also build listening and speaking skills, as well as basic grammar. There are courses for adults as well as children.
Intermediate English
Intermediate English classes are available for both children and adults alike. The lessons cover the four basic skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. It is especially useful for students who already have a knowledge of basic English and want to increase their vocabulary, comprehension and ability to speak and write with greater ease.
Advanced English
Advanced English classes are especially suitable for students preparing for examinations at higher academic levels:

Cambridge IGCSE First Language English papers or their equivalent;

university entrance tests such as the Scholastic Assessment Tests (The SAT);

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
Students preparing for other examinations can also contact us for advice and customised courses.
English for the Workplace
These classes are well-suited for adults who want to improve their spoken and written English for business purposes.
Learn to speak with confidence, articulate ideas fluently, and persuade an audience to see your own point of view.
Write formal business letters with ease and avoid the pitfalls of using language that sets your audience at cross purposes with you.
Finally, deliver effective oral presentations and learn to engage an audience by reading a text naturally and with confidence.

Victor's Tuition is located in Taman Taynton View, a short walk from the Taman Mutiara MRT station and Leisure Mall. Since the pandemic, our lessons have mainly been on Zoom, so you can learn English from the comfort of your own home and from anywhere in the world.
